Armando “Mando” Alvarado has his own construction business in Torrance, CA. He has two daughters, a granddaughter, and a grandson. They all love playing baseball and video games, and for a fun time with the family, Disneyland is a favorite spot. He is accompanying Hailey and her family at The Wedding™.

James Chapman, Wendy’s brother, was born in San Pedro, CA. He is the fabrication operation manager of All Access Shop in Torrance, where they make platforms for concerts and TV shows like “Dancing with the Stars.” Each year, All Access Shop builds the halftime stage for the Super Bowl. James likes fishing, playing softball with his buddies, and – like Wendy and Abigail – watching sports on TV. James and his wife Patricia love spending time with their granddaughters, and they all love Disneyland.

Brandi Garrison  is a patient intake specialist for Baylor White & Scott in Dallas, TX. She grew up in Dallas and Colorado, and her kids, Gabbi and Eian, are both in college. Gabbi sees herself working in the hospitality or culinary fields and Eian wants to be a politician. Brandi and Carson love to travel, and just did a 3-week stint around Spain. They have traveled to Cuba, Costa Rica, and Mexico. Next on the list is for Carson to take to Brandi to Europe, to experience it the way he did in his modeling days.

Carson Garrison, Wendy’s first cousin, is a fixed operations director for Maserati/Alfa Romeo in Dallas, TX. Carson is the only child of Wendy’s favorite aunt, Brenda. He grew up helping is mother with her farm in Oklahoma. Carson drives race cars as a hobby, and he has fond memories of celebrating Christmas with the entire Chapman family. Carson lived with Wendy when he first moved to Los Angeles to work as a model for the Ford Moedling Agency. A funny memory Carson has of Wendy from this time is the look on her face when he suggested they go get their nails done.

Patricia Mortvedt was born in Amberg, a town in Germany’s largest state of Bavaria. Married to Wendy’s brother James, Patricia had a long career in the healthcare industry, most recently as the office manager for a private obstetrics and gynecology practice. Patricia is a warm and welcoming convener of family. She enjoys attending concerts with her daughter Hailey, and spending time with her granddaughters Kylie and Maddilyn. Just like for Mando and his family, Disneyland is a favorite destination for Patricia and hers. Patricia played a critical role during Covid, caring for her granddaughters and helping keep their education on track.

Kylie and Maddilyn Aros attend Fern Elementary School in Torrance, CA, going into 4th and 3rd grade, respectively. They love to play handball and make-up. Wendy and Abigail were at the hospital with the family to welcome Kylie into the world, and we have wonderful memories of the sisters interacting with Abigail’s dad, David, when they were last visiting. He seemed to delight in them as much as they were fascinated by him. It’s no wonder he was delighted: they performed a spontaneous and energetic dance especially for him!

Hailey Mortvedt, Wendy’s niece, grew up in Torrance, CA where she now lives with her two daughters, Kylie and Maddilyn. Trained in the medical field, she now works in the pulmonary department at Torrence Memorial, a very intense but critically important role during the pandemic. Wendy’s favorite memory of Hailey was when she took her to visit her grandmother (Wendy’s mom) in Washington. Her grandmother was experimenting with some kind of hair-do and had put weird styling tools in Wendy’s hair. Hailey, age 2, objected, pointed at Wendy’s head and demanded, “Take those out of her hair!”
