Crew Who’s Who
Stephen Fitzgerald
Sound Engineer
Stephen, whose full name is Lawrend Stephen Fitzgerald IV, is accompanying Maid of Honor Anika Narayanan. He was educated at Seattle University, and now works in the financial industry. Born in Chicago, IL, Stephen went to middle and high school in St. Helena, CA, in wine country, where Wendy and Abigail plan to enjoy a brief getaway later this week. Described by Nika as “extremely Irish,” Stephen is known for his uncanny ability to correctly identify a song/artist/band, as well as TV actors. He and Nika met at a Halloween party where they were two of only three guests not in costumes.
Kyle Noone
Set Designer
Kyle is first and foremost flower girl Addie Hilgard’s spouse. (Just kidding.) He and Addie have graciously opened their gorgeous home for The Wedding™. A formidable kayaker, surfer, and songwriter, Kyle played D1 baseball for the University of North Carolina and now teaches at Branciforte Middle School. Abigail and Anika (at age 3) were both honored to be in Kyle and Addie’s wedding party.
Asunción (Chon) Torrez
Lighting Consultant
Chon hails from Oaxaca, Mexico, and now lives in Santa Cruz where he and flower girl Andrea Marcum first met. New to Abigail and Wendy’s friend group, Chon has already become a fixture in many of our activities, including sipping Equinox wine, enjoying Parker’s oysters, and preparing legendary fish tacos. Chon volunteered his skills to design the lighting for The Wedding™.
Linden DesJardins
Makeup Artist
Linden is a rising Sophomore at Pacific Collegiate School, where she is on the swim team. (Wendy also swam competitively in high school.) She is involved in club swimming with CRUZ – an acronym for Confident, Ready, Unified, and Zealous. Linden sings with the PCS Choir. Abigail and Wendy vividly remember Linden in a production of “The Sound of Music,” stealing the show as one of the von Trapp boys.
Assistant to Ms. Delano Eleanor
Josie Noone
Josie is a rising junior at the University of Washington, majoring in Applied Mathematics. Having played competitive club soccer for over 10 years, Josie now enjoys sailing, weightlifting, ultimate Frisbee and running. She is currently a research assistant on a project to parameterize a multi-dimensional partial differential equation. (See Josie for details.) In the summer of 2022, she studied architectural engineering in Rome. Wendy and Abigail are indebted to Josie for her efforts to keep Delano Eleanor in check during The Wedding™.
Hannah Day
Prop Supervisor
Hannah graduated from Santa Cruz High School and is now a rising sophomore at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR, where she is majoring in World Languages (Mandarin and Japanese). She has been an entrepreneur on Etsy, and is a nearly fluent speaker of Mandarin, which she began learning as a teen. Hannah is a masterful organizer.
Tristan Day
Hospitality
Tristan is a rising sophomore at Santa Cruz High School. An avid player of Magic, the Gathering, Tristan plays baseball for his high school team, and has been an enthusiastic and sought-after player in Little League of Santa Cruz, where he is also a fair and impartial umpire.
Isaac Harrington
Hospitality
Isaac is studying computer science at the College of San Mateo. A resident of Redwood City, CA, Isaac played the viola in high school and as part of the Peninsula Youth Orchestra. When he needed to upgrade his instrument, Abigail’s mom was pleased to sell her beloved viola to him. It was slightly too large for her, but perfect for a young man like Isaac. He and Abigail were both born on November 23, but decades apart.
Kellen Noone
Hospitality
Kellen, after participating in Junior Lifeguards for several years, helped run the program as a member of the Captain’s Corps in summer 2022. He plays baseball at Santa Cruz High School, where he is a rising senior. Abigail and Wendy watched Kellen’s hip hop group perform at the halftime show of the Golden State Warriors D-League team.
Fosse
Gaffer
Fosse is a 13 year old Russian Blue. Hailing from Santa Monica, CA, she now resides in Santa Cruz. She appreciates treats and time with her human family members. While she is very beautiful and it’s tempting to pet her, one does so at their own risk.
Willie McCovey
Best Boy
Willie is an 8 year old Maine Coone. His life began in West Los Angeles, but he quickly moved to an apartment by the beach in Playa Del Rey. He likes to sit on his mom’s keyboard while she tries to work, and bite and hit passersby. Abigail thinks he is gradually out-growing this, but Wendy is unconvinced.
Momofuku
Stunt Coordinator
Momo was rescued by Anika when the sorority sisters Anika was subletting from threatened to abandon Momo in downtown Los Angeles. Nicknamed “Perma-kitten” for her size, upon meeting her, most guests ask whether they can adopt her. Despite weighing only a few pounds, Momo is by far the loudest of the cats.
