Wendy and Abigail are getting married! For those asking about whether we have a registry, thank you, but we don’t! We are middle-aged and have everything we could dream of. In lieu of a wedding gift, we ask that you consider a tax-deductable gift to the David Kaun and Abigail Kaun fund. Through this fund, Wendy and Abigail continue David’s legacy of giving to the arts, especially arts education, in the Santa Cruz region.

The David Kaun and Abigail Kaun fund directs contributions to support programs that provide arts exposure and education to Santa Cruz County area youth, with an emphasis on those from underserved communities. Recently, these programs have included Music in May, which, through the David Kaun Endowed Youth Outreach Program, provides free programs that give local youth an intimate “front seat pass” to interactive performances. Recently, the fund has also supported the Kuumbwa High School Jazz Honor Band, which showcases some of the most talented high-school student musicians from Santa Cruz County and the Central Coast region.
